Liz McCloskey is accountancy and business advice firm Grant Thornton’s new business development manager in its Bristol office.
She joins from leading business process outsourcing company Capita Group, where she worked in the group sales team, managing the preparation of large complex tenders to potential clients.
An economics and politics graduate from Bath University, Liz began her career as a management trainee at logistics group Wincanton, spending six years with the company in a variety of roles.
Grant Thornton’s senior practice leader in Bristol Nigel Morrison said: “Liz will bring an overall management focus to our business development activity, which has already been bolstered by the recent arrival of Simon Moore, the former chairman and managing director of Barclays Corporate in the region.
“We are therefore very well placed to approach the market in a strong and confident manner and remain at least one step ahead of our competitors.”
