Bristol creative agency Studio Diva has been nominated as a finalist in the games industry’s main annual awards for the second year running.
The firm will battle it out with eight other specialist agencies from across the UK in the creative agency team of the year category at the MCV Awards, which take place tomorrow.
More than 70 UK games firms are in the running for the awards across 22 categories.
Studio Diva specialises in creative communications for the video games industry, entertainment, leisure, sport and FMCG (fast-moving commuter goods) sectors.
Over the past year it has worked on games campaigns such as Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Destiny and Sony PlayStation.
Managing director Andy Barnes said: “It is testament to our incredible team and the fantastic work we produce, that we once again find ourselves recognised as a leading force in a very congested market place.”
Studio Diva creates campaigns for some of the world’s biggest entertainment companies including Sony Computer Entertainment and Activision.
The MCV Awards take place at London’s Lancaster Hotel and are hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Romesh Ranganathan.
They are expected to attract 600 UK games industry executives
Studio Diva will be in good company – Warner, Ubisoft and Sony each have 10 nominations, EA has nine, Nintendo eight, Activision Blizzard seven, while Xbox has six.”
