Property agency Hartnell Taylor Cook has appointed six new members of staff as part of its strategy to continue to grow its London and Bristol offices.

Wayne McNally, pictured, has been appointed as the director in charge of professional services in Bristol, covering the South West and Wales.

He has joined from rival Lambert Smith Hampton’s Bristol office where he worked since 2005, specialising in lease advisory work dealing with all elements of rent reviews, lease renewals, lease restructuring and valuation, covering all types of commercial premises.

Nic Rumble has been appointed an associate director in the development department, covering all aspects of the commercial and residential development market in the South West and in particular bringing substantial experience in the rapidly expanding care/nursing home market. He joins from Cardiff-based Castleoak Care Developments.

Shaun Hall, a highly experienced facilities manager, joins as a director in the asset and property management department from DTZ’s Bristol office. He is charged with establishing and expanding the facilities management discipline in the firm’s Bristol office covering the whole of the UK for clients such as the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and The Co-operative Group.

The property and asset management department in the Bristol office has expanded following the appointment of Vicky Baker as a graduate trainee responsible for assisting in the management of The Co-operative non-operational portfolio located across the South West.  She has joined from Vale of Glamorgan District Council and has been joined by Hannah Batchelor, who has joined as a trainee surveyor from University of West of England.

Helene Ionnodes has joined the professional team based in the London office, covering all aspects of landlord and tenant, valuation and rating work.  She graduated with a masters in Estate Management from Kingston University.

Hartnell Taylor Cook managing partner Stuart Howell said: “Following a substantial increase in market activity and a number of interesting new instructions, we have made a number of key appointments.

“We feel it is important to recruit not only junior staff but senior level staff who can fit straight in so that we can continue to provide the high quality but personal service we pride ourselves on.”
