Bristol-based invoice finance provider Optimum Finance is aiming to win more business in the North of England following the appointment of a new regional director.
Paul Green, pictured, joins Optimum from RBS Invoice Finance, where he held a number of business development roles. He has also worked for HSBC.
Optimum said his knowledge and experience would allow it to offer products greatly aligned to meet the needs of the Northern economy.
The firm is targeting the region following a report by the Office for National Statistics that showed it had one of the largest percentages of high-growth businesses in the UK.
Optimum chief commercial officer Lynn-Marie Jameson said: “We already service many clients in the North and Paul’s arrival will give us the tools necessary to spread our excellent funding solutions even wider.
“Invoice finance is an underused solution perfect for both well-established and fast-growing B2B businesses and we want as many companies as possible to be able to take advantage of this.
“I already know Paul will be a great addition and I’m delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Paul added: “I am extremely excited to start my new role with Optimum Finance and support businesses with their working capital needs across the North.
“I am looking forward to seeing my introducers in the coming weeks to explain the great offering we have here at Optimum and how we can look to support with flexible solutions.
“I am encouraged by the agility and flexibility Optimum has to help as many businesses as possible, as quickly as possible.”
Optimum, which was launched in 2017, provides a range of payment services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across a range of sectors.
It has also been at the forefront of using the latest technology to assist firms in optimising operational efficiencies and effectiveness in areas such as working capital, growth and costs.
