Specialist workplace legal practice Doyle Clayton has recruitted Anne-Marie Boyle as an employment law partner based in Bristol

She will co-head the firm’s Bristol office, which opened in December, alongside Harry Parker, who joined last year after more than 17 years with Bristol-headquartered national law firm TLT.

With more than 25 years’ experience, Anne-Marie, pictured, specialises in employment tribunal litigation, collective redundancy and TUPE issues, and works closely with clients in a range of sectors including logistics, outsourcing, manufacturing, retail, IT and education.

She qualified as a solicitor in 1994 with Russel Jones and Walker in London before moving to Osborne Clarke in 1997, spending 11 years there and gaining promotion to partner.

She joins Doyle Clayton from Menzies Law in Bristol, where she worked as a partner and senior specialist employment lawyer for just under a decade.

In addition to her role at the firm she will continue her work as a fee-paid employment judge in Birmingham, a position she has held for the past three years.

Doyle Clayton CEO Tina Wisener, said the firm was delighted to have one of the region’s leading employment lawyers join its team.

“Anne-Marie brings with her decades of experience which will provide valuable insight to our clients. We are also delighted to have our first employment judge in the team,” she added.

“We are fully committed to expanding our services across the region and look forward to Harry Parker and Anne-Marie spearheading our growth and expansion across the South West.”

Anne-Marie said: “I am very excited to begin my new role with Doyle Clayton, a firm which has an excellent reputation and has some of the leading employment lawyers in the UK.

“The launch of our Bristol office provides an exciting opportunity and a challenge that I look forward to taking on, and I am delighted to play a leading role in the continued growth and expansion of the firm.”

Founded in 1997 as an employment law firm, Doyle Clayton has since expanded its services to align with the everchanging employer-employee landscape, including offering immigration, corporate and commercial, pension, regulatory and education legal services.

Having had a presence in the London and Thames Valley markets for more than 20 years, it opened in Bristol just over two months ago to support its clients in the South West and beyond.
