Duo appointed to law firm Foot Anstey’s expanding Bristol office

Regional law firm Foot Anstey has continued to invest in its rapidly-growing Bristol office by recruiting two top legal specialists.

Deborah Carrivick joins from Bristol rival Burges Salmon where she has spent the last 15 years specialising in high-value tax and trust work while construction law expert Fran Button returns to the firm from industry. Their arrival brings the number of partners at the Bristol office to 14.

Deborah, pictured right, advises non-UK domiciled individuals on the income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax implications of UK residency and of owning assets in the UK and provides tax and estate planning advice to UK domiciled individuals.

She also provides trust advice to international trust companies and individuals, including drafting trust documentation, advising on general trust law issues and advising on products.

Fran Button, pictured below, has extensive experience in non-contentious work which involves her drafting and negotiating complex building contracts, framework agreements, security documents, warranties and consultant appointments for public and private sector projects. She has particular expertise in renewables projects having being involved in large-scale solar development and funding and energy from waste projects.
