Bristol law firm Barcan+Kirby has appointed two new partners as part of its annual promotions round.
Alison Gill and Gemma Geoghegan’s promotions take the total number of partners at the firm to 18 – with 61% female.
Alison, pictured right, who works in the firm’s private client department, specialises in small and medium-sized estate administration, helping clients with all aspects of the process from obtaining grants of representation to distributing legacies.
She also undertakes applications to the Court of Protection and can advise on Powers of Attorney.
Gemma, pictured below, has worked in compliance since 2011 and ensures the firm maintains compliance with Lexcel, the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management.
She delivers training to all staff on key risk areas and keeps the firm’s policies and procedures updated with key changes to laws and regulations.
