The Bristol office of independent property advisers GVA has been appointed to provide a full consultancy service for national disability charity Vitalise across its portfolio of properties.
GVA’s lease consultancy team is advising on lease renewals, restructures, break clauses and rent reviews for the charity’s 13 shops. GVA is also assisting in its search for properties and development sites to create three new respite break centres in the South West, Midlands and North East.
Victoria Oliver, senior surveyor within GVA’s lease consultancy team in Bristol, said: “The charity currently has asked GVA to help in its expansion plans by adding 10 shops by the end of next year.”
Vitalise provides accessible short breaks with care for people with disabilities and carers in a relaxed, holiday style environment with a variety of trips and activities. Guests are supported by volunteers who provide companionship and assistance. The charity was founded in 1963 as the Winged Fellowship Trust, becoming Vitalise in 2004.
