Latcham Direct, the Bristol-based digital print and marketing services firm, has made three key account management appointments as it continues to grow.
The firm, one of the South West’s leading providers of marketing, document fulfilment, data, digital and print services, works with customers across the UK from its head office in Hengrove and satellite base in Crawley, Sussex.
It is targeting further expansion this year, both organically and through possible acquisitions.
The new joiners are Sharon Saunders, a highly experienced print professional who has worked in the print sector for 34 years in a number of different roles, Joe Parsons, who has worked in the print sector for 15 years, and Emma Martin, who is now account manager at Latcham CGL in Crawley.
Latcham Direct acquired independent print management company CGL last September as part of its ongoing strategy to significantly grow the business and increase its UK-wide reach.
Sharon joins from Kingsdown, where she was client service manager for direct mail campaigns. She has also held management positions at Xerox and point-of-sale manufacturers Showcard.
In her new role at Latcham Direct, she will be account manager for a number of key financial services and utilities clients.
Joe Parsons has also worked at JamJar Print, Brunel Promotions, EPC Direct and APB ColourPrint.
At Latcham Direct, he will be responsible for a number of clients in the membership, charity and local government sector accounts including The National Trust, Xerox, The Folio Society and Aylesbury & Torridge Council, where he will be responsible for delivering direct mail campaigns.
Emma has more than 20 years’ experience in the print sector, having worked as a sales office manager for the Mayer-Kuvert Network. Her new role will involve handling projects from estimating through to production and billing; ensuring all client campaigns are delivered on time and on budget.
Alongside these appointments, Michaela Siminitcaia is taking a permanent role within Latcham Direct’s busy hand-packing department following a number of months in a temporary position. She will continue to ensure all print materials are packed and labelled correctly and assist with quality control checks.
The appointments follow a period of rapid expansion for Latcham Direct. Last April it appointed Amanda Woollaston, a senior marketer with 25 years’ marketing experience specialising in brand development and communications, as head of marketing.
Amanda has been instrumental in putting a robust marketing strategy in place incorporating digital, print, events, PR and social media, re-launching Latcham Direct’s website and advising the board on strategic marketing initiatives and priorities for the business.
Latcham Direct managing director Mike Hughes said: “These are exciting times for us as the business continues to expand. Our strong reputation as one of the leading experts in print management and digital, marketing and document fulfilment solutions means that we attract experienced and committed account managers and business professionals to our headquarters in Bristol and our office in Crawley.
“We take our responsibilities as a major employer in the area very seriously and are committed to paying at least the Real Living Wage to our staff. We also have a policy of supporting and training young people entering the workforce and regularly take on apprentices interested in pursuing a career in the print sector.
“We are also proud supporters of a number of local charities and last year Latcham Direct staff raised more than £4,000 for good causes.
“With our dedicated and talented team in place, 2018 looks set to be another record year for growth as we look at further appointments and acquisitions.”
