Bond Dickinson, the national law firm with a major office in Bristol, has been reappointed to one of two places on the legal panel of The Crown Estate energy and infrastructure portfolio.
The decision followed a competitive tender process which aimed to consolidated legal advice across an extremely diverse portfolio.
Bond Dickinson will concentrate on advising The Crown Estate on its successful marine aggregates business as well as on its interests in transmission and pipelines. Also reappointed was global firm Norton Rose Fulbright.
The Crown Estate’s legal director Vivienne King said: “The Energy and Infrastructure portfolio is one of the most diverse and exciting parts of our business making for an extremely competitive tender process.
“Having worked with both Norton Rose Fulbright and Bond Dickinson before, we know that they share our values and understand our ambitions for a portfolio which is at the forefront of the offshore low carbon industry.”
Bond Dickinson chairman and relationship partner for The Crown Estate Nick Page added: “We have a longstanding relationship with The Crown Estate and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship by making a contribution in key areas of The Crown Estate’s business.”
