Campaign: Moixa is the UK’s leading home battery company. This month Greenhouse PR announced a ground-breaking smart energy trial by Moixa to show how home batteries can reduce pressures on the electricity system, allow existing infrastructure to support more solar homes and save millions of pounds in the cost of running the UK’s power network.
Objectives:
- Position the trial in the wider context of energy market challenges and rising fuel poverty.
- Demonstrate how Moixa is working with electricity network operators and social landlords to pioneer the cost-effective, low-carbon, smart energy system of the future
Activity: Working alongside Moixa and its project partners, Greenhouse positioned the trial in the wider context of energy market challenges, the problems of rising fuel poverty and secured a local resident case study. Greenhouse also ran a social media campaign alongside the trial launch to engage with key influencers in the energy and housing sector.
Results:
- Covered by more than 200 print media, including the Financial Times, The Times, Guardian, Press Association, BBC and many energy and regional media.
- Potential audience of 6.7m
