Bristol independent accountancy practice Corrigan has taken on nine new members of staff as it continues to build its team.
Among the new arrivals at the firm, which specialises in advising growing businesses across Bristol and the South West, is senior private client tax manager Hannah Larsen.
The appointments mark the latest step in the firm’s ambitious growth strategy as it continues to expand its services across the region.
Hannah, who is chair of the Bristol branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association and of Taxation Technicians, will bolster the firm’s private client team while also strengthening its provision of bespoke family office services.
Corrigan has also introduced two new audit trainees, Sophie Jones and Max Wakefield, and two in business services. Natalie Griffin and Sam Phillips, along with audit assistant manager Raj Kumar, tax senior Ayanfe Akoni, business services manager Cathy Nech and audit assistant manager Olivia Adams.
Corrigan founder and partner Ed Corrigan, who launched the business in 2009 with just two people, said he was delighted to welcome Hannah to the team.
“Hannah’s extensive experience will be a huge asset to our firm as we continue to expand our private client services, supporting a wide range of personal clients and business owners,” he added.
“Her expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals and families will be a great asset to the firm.
Corrigan tax partner Pete Edwards said the firm was always on the lookout for talented people who wanted to be part of its journey to become the leading independent practice in Bristol.
“Training our graduates has been a vital part of our growth since the practice was set up 15 years ago,” he added.
