South West law firm Ashfords, which has a major office in Bristol, has appointed James Lyons as a partner in its corporate and commercial team.
James joins from international law firm Trowers & Hamlins where he worked in corporate law for six years, five of them as a partner. Prior to that he worked at major firm Olswang for six years.
James, who began his career at Allen & Overy after qualifying in 1998, specialises in all forms of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and joint ventures for both private and public sector firms.
