National consumer law firm Simpson Millar has appointed experienced clinical negligence solicitor Claire Levene to is Bristol office.
Claire, pictured, brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role, 18 of them spent working on behalf of clients who have sustained birth-related injuries. 
She also specialises in complex injuries arising from negligence during orthopaedic and spinal surgery and has settled multiple high-value claims, including fatal cases and those resulting from delays in cancer diagnosis.
A member of the Law Society’s specialist clinical negligence panel, Claire has joined Simpson Millar from RHL solicitors (previously Lysander Law) in Bristol. Prior to that she spent more than 10 years with Barcan+Kirby (previously Barcan Woodward).
Her appointment is one of five to Simpson Millar’s clinical negligence team – a move which has added three experienced solicitors, a chartered legal executive and a legal executive.
It comes in response to increased demand from clients, including those who have suffered harm or injury due to negligence resulting in birth trauma, complex surgical injuries, orthopaedic and spinal injuries and delayed diagnosis.
