Bristol-based brick cladding specialist Eurobrick has had the most successful 12 months in its 24-year history and has moved to a larger base to accommodate further growth.
Turnover at the firm, which installs lightweight brick slips and stone-faced cladding systems for clients such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco, McDonalds, Timberland, Wimpey and Persimmon, climbed by 20% in 2013 and is on track to go higher this year.
The firm’s relocation from the Wilverley Trading Estate in Brislington to a 12,500 sq ft warehouse on the Newbridge Trading Estate in St Philips, means it now operates from a base around two thirds larger with space for a dedicated ground-floor showroom where customers can view the product ranges.
Managing director John Mayes said: “This move is a really positive step forward for us and we’re thrilled with the success of the business over the last few years. We have seen a general upturn in the level of activity in the construction industry that is of course something everyone can be pleased about.
“By moving into a larger space, we will be able to increase our efficiency as a business and it will make processing orders easier for the warehouse staff.”
The firm has also recruited a fifth member of staff.
