Businesses are being invited to have their say on the future of Bristol’s libraries at an event today (Wednesday January 21).
The city council is consulting on the issue and inviting feedback from all parts of the community. This evening’s event, at the Central Library on College Green, will be an open discussion – however, organisers have suggested topics to generate that discussion may include:
What role do libraries play in terms of the local business community?
Should the business community become more involved with them in the future?
How could the business community become more involved or better utilise the facilities offered by libraries?
For more information go to www.bristolfuturelibraries.co.uk or submit ideas via the Ideas Bank at www.bristol.gov.uk/libraryideas.
This evening’s event lasts from 6:15pm to 7:30pm.
