Bristol-based income protection and health insurance specialist APRIL UK has appointed Ann Schuster as business development manager.
Ann, pictured, has more than 23 years’ experience in the insurance industry having worked for Prudential as life and pensions sales manager, and the AA Insurance Services as area manager.
She will be responsible for the field protection team in the South of England, as APRIL UK looks to build its network of protection advisers.
Ann said: “APRIL UK is an ambitious provider which is looking to develop all its distribution lines as well as presence in the market. I’m looking forward to playing my part and developing a successful team in the South.”
Sales director Wayne Carter added: “We are aiming to make APRIL UK a household name for protection and health insurance and Ann will be responsible for developing a sales force focussed on providing quality protection advice for new and existing customers.”
Established in 1997, APRIL UK is part of the French headquartered international APRIL Group which looks after 6m policyholders in 37 countries. The group has a market value in excess of £776m.
