Senior officials from China’s Hunan Province are visiting Bristol next week to explore potential opportunities for future collaboration.
The centrepiece of the visit will be a roundtable presentation and discussion about this fast-developing province of China to be held at Business West’s Leigh Court base.
Business West is supporting the visit, which has been organised by the Bristol and West of England China Bureau in partnership with Make it China.
Bureau chief executive Dianne Francombe, pictured, said: “Hunan Province is the seventh most populous and one of the fastest-growing provinces in China. It was also the birthplace of Chairman Mao.
“As an important manufacturing base accelerating the new industrialisation of the region, there is clearly some common ground between Hunan and Bristol.”
There are a limited number of tickets available for the roundtable and BWECB is urging its members to reserve their place as soon as possible.
