Burges Salmon expands its technology and commercial capabilities with senior hire

A media and communications law specialist has joined Bristol-headquartered legal firm Burges Salmon as a senior commercial lawyer to strengthen its technology sector group.

Madelin Sinclair McAusland, pictured, arrives with 14 years’ experience in private practice at A&O Shearman and in-house at Virgin Management, and advises household and consumer brands on complex commercial, technology, data protection and IP issues. 

She will work with many of Burges Salmon’s most progressive and dynamic clients, which range from multinational companies through to high-growth emerging businesses, supporting them on pioneering and transformational transactions to bring new products to market.

She will also advise them on the deployment, and real-world market application, of new technologies as well as guiding them through large-scale digital transformation projects.
