Nailsea mechanical and electrical engineering (M+E) consultants Wye Solutions has been acquired by independent national building and property consultancy Tuffin Ferraby Taylor.
Wye, whose high-profile clients include Siemens, Highcross Strategic Advisers and Ashdown Phillips, has a strong reputation and significant expertise in technical due diligence and dilapidations.
TFT said the acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, would strengthen its M+E offering, enhancing its M+E design resource and adding a facilities management capability.
The acquisition will also strengthen TFT’s sustainability consultancy where building services play a key role and which is becoming an increasingly valuable and important service line to clients.
Wye staff will relocate to TFT’s Bristol office in Queen Square and will continue to operate across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
The acquisition is part of TFT’s continuing growth which has resulted in it being the highest-ranking building surveying practice in Building Magazine’s recent Top 150 firms listing.
