The Hobbs Show – the largest fashion show in the UK outside of London – will put Bristol’s fashion industry in the spotlight tomorrow.

The night of style, music and performance – the last to be staged by iconic Bristol salon Hobbs – will offer a  platform for the best independent boutiques, designers and new fashion talent from Bristol and the West.

From indie streetwear to high-end couture, the show -  called Born & Raised in Bristol – at the Passenger Shed will feature a wide range of styles on its catwalk.

The event is supported by hairstayling brand TIGI and will take place on a 20m catwalk installed specially for the night. It will feature Bristol’s freshest fashion talents, boutiques and some huge national brands, showcasing fashions for spring and summer 2016.

Styled by the Hobbs team, a range of models will take to the stage in Vivienne Westwood designs from Bristol’s Garment Quarter, wedding dresses from throughout the eras from Heartfelt Vintage and vintage designs from Recession Clothing.

Bag maker to the stars Katcha Bilek will be showcasing her products made from recycled materials, while Clic Sargent will have their own collection featuring upcycled streetwear. House of Waladeen will also feature its handmade street clothing, designed and made in Bristol.

Music will be at the core of the show with performances from Bristol jazz artist Kizzy Morrell, all-girl rock group Flowerpot, 60s band Rockolas and five-piece choir Rif Raf.

There will also be circus acts, dancers from every genre from bhangra to breakdance and plenty of surprises to keep them guessing on stage in this whirlwind show.

Tickets, priced at £40, with a limited number of VIP tickets for £65, are available online here .

All the proceeds will go Meningitis Research Foundation.
