Bristol-based specialist creative agency Studio Diva, which has helped market video games such as Call of Duty and World of Warcraft, is about to do battle itself for a major industry accolade.
The agency, which specialises in point of sale and marketing materials for the video games, entertainment, leisure and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) sectors, will go head to head with eight other specialist agencies from across the UK for the coveted title of Creative Agency Team of the Year in the MCV Awards.
More than 100 UK games firms are competing in the awards across 25 categories.
Studio Diva managing director Andy Barnes said: “While conversely, we’re still relatively unknown in our home city of Bristol, we’re delighted to have been recognised as one of the leading creative forces in our sector.”
From their studios above Bristol Architecture Centre, Studio Diva delivers creative campaigns for some of the world’s biggest entertainment companies, including Sony Computer Entertainment and Activision.
The MCV awards, which take place on April 10 at London’s Lancaster Hotel, recognise success and innovation in the UK games business, across retail, digital sales, marketing and publishing.
