The Bristol branch of the Co-op bank has provided a six-figure loan to the management buy out team at e-DBA, the UK’s leading Oracle Support specialist providing cloud services and other products.
Chris Mapp, business development manager at the Co-op’s Bristol Corporate Banking Centre said e-DBA, which has offices in Brighton and Stansted, was “a business that is moving forward strongly, operating in a growing market with strong and proven management and we were delighted to provide the financial backing for the new team to take it to the next stage of its expansion”.
The bank and the MBO team were advised by Baker Tilly in Bristol while the MBO team was also advised by Paul Fussell, partner in the Gloucester office of Hazlewoods. Legal advice for the bank was provided by Jonathan Payne, partner at the Swindon office of law firm Thrings and Ben Walmsley of Spring Law provided legal support for the MBO team.
