The founder and CEO of Bristol-based international recruitment company Opus Professional Services Group has added to his collection of trophies by winning the inaugural Entrepreneur of the Year title at the Recruiter Awards for Excellence.
The award recognises Darren Ryemill’s outstanding achievements in terms of originality and potential sustainability as well as profitability throughout his career. It also strengthens his reputation as an innovator in the recruitment sector and a serial entrepreneur – he founded two companies prior to forming Opus. 
Earlier this year he was awarded The Sunday Times ‘Best Leader’ accolade against 500-plus business leaders who completed The Sunday Times’ Best Companies survey and in 2013 won Recruitment International’s ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ title.
Since launching the business in 2008 as Opus Recruitment Solutions, Darren has grown it into the Opus Professional Services Group with eight brands supplying specialist recruitment services on a global scale with offices in London, Sydney and Amsterdam. The group has retained its headquarters in Bristol.

Founded in 2008 as Opus Recruitment Solutions, the Opus Professional Services Group has since grown immensely. In seven short years Opus has already expanded over four offices in Bristol, London, Sydney and Amsterdam.
