Bristol firms A-Gas and Loungers are among the finalists of the prestigious West of England Business of the Year Awards which have been announced today.
The PwC-sponsored awards are the most-coveted in the region, recognising for the past 25 years to cream of the West’s dynamic companies. As well as the main award, there is an award for smaller businesses turning over £25m or less.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on July 4 at the Wills Memorial Building in Bristol. Bristol Business News and its sister titles Swindon Business News and Bath Business News, along with the new WestBusinessNews magazine, are among the sponsors of the awards.
PwC West region chairman Rob Lewis, said: “The awards, which are now in their 25th year, are designed to acknowledge and celebrate businesses in the West for their successes, achievements and contribution to the regional economy.

Pendennis Shipyard, Falmouth
One of the world’s leading super-yacht builders with a heritage spanning 23 years.
Vi-Spring, Plymouth
Market leader in luxury bed designs and manufacturing. While it has a British heritage, international exports are expanding.
Watson Marlow, Falmouth
