Digital copying technology specialist Canotec is to relocate to its South West office to Bristol’s Paintworks.
The move, from Corston near Bath, coincides with the third anniversary of the firm opening in the region and a raft of major contract wins.
It said the move to Paintworks, part of Bristol’s Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, also puts it at the heart of the city’s thriving creative quarter. It is staging an unofficial opening today for clients and suppliers.
Canotec, which has its head office in Ringwood, Hampshire, supplies copying, printing and scanning devices from major manufacturers such as Canon and HP, to more than 1,200 companies and organisations across the South.
The firm employs 50 people across the group, with 15 based The Paintworks.
Last month its work with Bristol law firm Bond Pearce put it in the running for the Best Technology Project at this year’s The Lawyer magazine awards. Canotec help Bond Pearce reduce its paper usage by 6m pages a year.
Among the firm’s recent contract wins are Bristol law firm TLT, specialist insurer Brightside based at Aust, near Bristol, Bath-based engineering group Rotork and MAN Truck & Bus in Swindon.
Canotec South West managing director Mark Allen said: “Demand for our services in the South West, including in Bristol, Bath and Swindon, continues to grow strongly through reputation and recommendation.”
