A free cyber security workshop to teach small firms how to protect against online threats is being staged by Bristol business support organisation BRAVE Enterprise.
The half-day workshop on November 7 is being held at BRAVE’s offices at The Coach House, 2 Upper York Street, Bristol, BS2 8QN. Booking in advance is essential. 
The session will be presented by Joanne Bocko of Avon and Somerset Police, who will offer tips to help small businesses stay safe online and thrive.
Topics covered will include current threats in cybercrime such as phishing and vishing (email and phone fraud), ransomware and password protection.
