A strong track record in defending its clients and a raft of significant deals over the past year earned national law firm Bond Dickinson the title of Insurance Team of the Year at last night’s prestigious Legal Business Awards.
Bond Dickinson, which has its second largest office in Bristol, was one of more than 100 finalists across 24 categories in the awards, which recognise the achievements of the finest lawyers in the industry. 
The winners were selected by an external judging panel made up of senior general counsel and senior editors from Legal Business’ editorial team.
Major projects and transactions handled by Bond Dickinson in the past year included helping insurance giant AIG design its Crowdfunding Fidelity insurance policy.
The awards judging panel also recognised the team’s success in defending its client Hewetts Solicitors against a claim brought in the High Court by an Unregulated Collective Investment Scheme.

The Legal Business Awards were staged at the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London.
