The payroll team at regional accountancy firm Bishop Fleming has been shortlisted in a highly regarded national award scheme for the third year running.
The firm, which has its largest office in Bristol, is competing in the ‘Payroll Service Provider of The Year’ category of the National Annual Excellence Awards staged by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals.
It is the third consecutive year that Bishop Fleming has featured among the hopefuls for the awards, the longest-running in the payroll industry.
Two years ago it was shortlisted in two categories. Last year it went one better and competed for three awards.
However, it has so far come away from the awards ceremony empty handed.
The Payroll Service Provider of the Year Award recognises firms that provide the highest quality of service to clients and can demonstrate a commitment to customer service and has an effective and compliant payroll function.
Bishop Fleming, which employs around 370 people across its network of seven offices stretching from Truro to Worcester, provides payroll, accounting, tax and advisory services to businesses, charities and academies as well as individuals.
Its payroll services team, pictured below, provides a fully managed payroll and workplace pension administration service, keeping clients up to date with all relevant regulatory changes.
It services more than 1,000 public and private sector organisations across the UK.
Payroll partner Will Hanbury said: “I am absolutely delighted for our payroll team that we have been shortlisted for this award.
“We add significant extra value to our clients in managing their payroll administration as well as ensuring our staff’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
“Our latest client survey gave us a 4.6 out of 5 for customer satisfaction.”
Bishop Fleming is one of 15 competitors in the Payroll Service Provider of the Year category.
The results of the National Annual Excellence Awards will be announced on October 7.
