Bristol law firm Barcan+Kirby has made a number of promotions, including the appointment of senior associate Claire Hurrell to partner, as it continues to go from strength to strength.
Claire, pictured, a member of the medical negligence team, joined Barcan+Kirby in 2013. She specialises in birth injury, obstetric negligence and fatal claims as well as undertaking a wider range of complex clinical negligence cases.
She is recommended by the respected law industry reference book Legal 500 and is ranked in rival publication Chambers as an ‘associate to watch’. She is a member of the AvMA (Action against Medical Accidents) specialist clinical negligence panel and was also named Bristol Law Society’s Lawyer of the Year in 2016.
Meanwhile Alison Whiles from the family law department, Anna Molter from its wills, trust and probate team and Claire Levene, who works in personal injury and medical negligence, have been promoted to senior associates.
Matthew Martin, from the commercial law team, Alison Gill and Joelle Allen, both solicitors in wills, trust and probate and Helen Franklin from medical negligence will become associates.
All promotions take effect from tomorrow, April 1.
