Bristol-based recruitment organisation Resource Solutions Group (RSG) has opened its seventh UK regional office under its Sanderson brand.
The office, in Southampton, supports a growing client base in and around the South Coast city. Sanderson, which specialises in the IT, finance, business change, corporate services and Government sectors, has operated in the Southampton area for 15 years but has not had a base in the city until now.
The office, in Ocean Village, has been launched with three skilled recruiters. Further staff will be recruited locally and will be put through RSG’s Training Academy.
The opening adds to Sanderson bases in Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Reading, Dublin and Munich as well as its Bristol head office.
RSG managing director Jon Ball said: “We’ve worked with clients from Southampton for many years and have wanted to open a Sanderson office there for some time.
“Companies in and around Southampton continue to invest in top talent and also volume recruitment – contract and permanent – which has opened significant opportunities within the jobs market.
“We’re proud to be opening this office and look forward to supporting its growth as a thriving part of the business community.”
The opening is part of a six-year strategic expansion and growth programme for RSG that includes opening branches in European cities.
The group, which recently reached a turnover of £250m for the first time, was founded in Bristol in 1975. It has grown from a single recruitment company into a multimillion pound network of expert recruitment businesses.
Still led by founder Keith Dawe along with CEO Mike Beesley, it provides a range of individually tailored and professional recruitment services to multi-nationals, household names and small and medium-sized businesses.
