South West accountancy firm, Albert Goodman has boosted its backing for the region’s sport by extending its sponsorship deal with Bristol City Women.
Building on its squad sponsorship deal, which was launched 18 months ago, Albert Goodman has now elevated its support by becoming the back-of-shorts sponsor for the 2024/25 season, pictured.
Albert Goodman director of marketing Robin Clempson said: “We are excited to continue our support for BCFC Women.
“As a business, we have 150 years’ heritage in the South West and our presence in Bristol is growing.
“It’s so important to us that we are involved and engaged with the communities in the cities where we operate. Our support for Bristol City Women is a crucial part of this.”
Bristol Sport chief commercial officer Sarah Farrar added: “We’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with Albert Goodman.
“We have enjoyed working with Robin and the team and are excited to expand the partnership to a kit sponsorship position.”
Albert Goodman also sponsors the Firebrands Corporate Hockey League, which features mixed teams from across the Bristol area, along with Thornbury Town, Taunton Town and Yeovil football clubs. It is also the main sponsor of the Weston Super Half Marathon.
Earlier this month the firm, which employs more than 300 people across its six offices, announced a 17% increase in annual turnover to of £21.4m.
It relocated its Bristol base in May last year from a small hub in Westbury-on-Trym to a 3,000 sq ft office on King Street to boost its profile in the city.
