European aerospace giant Airbus last night confirmed its long hoped for fly by for its A350 will go ahead tomorrow at the Paris Air Show. The aircraft, with a major input in wing design by engineers at Airbus's Filton plant near Bristol, has only flown twice before – the first a week ago. But Airbus wants to make Paris – the world's largest aero industry gathering – a shop window for the aircraft. Airbus has announced 466 sales at Paris including 69 A350s.
