National law firm Clarke Willmott has appointed Victoria Howlett as a manager in its Bristol-based agriculture sector team.
Victoria, pictured, trained and qualified as an agricultural litigator at Bristol-headquartered Burges Salmon in 2002 and worked with the firm until 2009.
She joins Clarke Willmott after two years in the Bristol office of regional firm Michelmores, where she specialised in non-contentious agricultural work and took on responsibility for managing the team’s knowledge, including precedents, know-how and training, as well as assisting with business development.
In her new role as an agriculture sector manager she will be responsible for managing business development for Clarke Willmott’s team of highly regarded agricultural lawyers, splitting her time between the firm’s Bristol and Taunton offices.
Clarke Willmott agriculture sector team partner Esther Woolford said: “Victoria brings with her significant experience within the sector, both in fee-earning and non-fee-earning roles and I’m sure she will make a real difference in her new position.”
Victoria added: “Clarke Willmott’s agriculture team has an excellent reputation in the sector and I am looking forward to playing a part in helping it continue to develop.”
The team was recommended in the recently released Legal 500 directory for 2016 with team members Mark Buckerfield, Rachael Crocker, Rod Lloyd-Jones, and Tim Hayden individually recommended.
