Award-winning independent accountancy firm Milsted Langdon, which has a major office in Bristol, is continuing its expansion across the region by opening a new office in Bath.
The office, at One Queen Square, is headed by Peter Groves, who joins Milsted Langdon having previously been the managing partner of independent Bath firm Richardson Groves.
Peter said: “I am delighted to have joined such a highly-regarded and forward-thinking firm as Milsted Langdon and I’m very excited to be leading this office and building on my strong existing relations in the business community.”
Chairman and founding partner of Milsted Langdon, Jonathan Langdon, added: “While many firms are looking to downsize their operations, we are constantly looking for opportunities to expand. This is a particularly exciting time for Milsted Langdon, as we see significant growth opportunities in Bath and the surrounding area. This office demonstrates our commitment to the local market and will help us to extend our award-winning tax and accountancy services to local private businesses and their owners.
“I am also delighted to welcome Peter on board. He is very well known in Bath, having practised there for many years, making him the ideal person to help us expand our offering into the city.”
Milsted Langdon opened its first office in Taunton in 1988, expanding into Yeovil in 1997 and then Bristol in 2004. Last year it won the award for Best Large Practice in the AccountingWEB Practice Excellence Awards.
