Bristol Airport yesterday added the 13th European capital city to its destination board when low-cost airline Ryanair launched its service to Warsaw.

The route is Ryanair’s seventh to Poland from Bristol and brings to 18 the total number of destinations served by the Irish budget operator from the airport.

Bristol Airport aviation director Shaun Browne said: “Ryanair’s new service provides an important link between the South West and Poland, which will be popular with leisure and business travellers as well as providing a convenient connection with home for the substantial Polish community in this region.”

One-way tickets to Warsaw start from just £9.99 for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in November and December. These tickets must be booked on Ryanair’s website before midnight tomorrow.
