Turley, the national planning and development consultancy with a base in Bristol, has recruited Annie Gingell as associate director in its South West and Wales team.
Annie, pictured, joins from the Bristol office of property consultancy Tetlow King Planning, where she spent more than seven-and-a-half years as an associate director and head of affordable housing. 
She specialises in affordable and other specialist forms of housebuilding, working with landowners, housebuilders and housing associations on projects across the UK.
Recognised as an expert witness in her field, she has a wealth of experience of giving evidence at Section 78 appeal hearings and public inquiries across England and is an active commentator on the sector and a champion of its benefits to society.
As Turley increases its affordable housing offer across the UK, Annie’s appointment builds on the existing expertise across its economics and planning teams.
While based in Bristol, her remit will extend nationally, working with Turley’s teams and clients across the UK.
Turley head of South West and Wales, Huw Jones, said it was vital that affordable housing provision was prioritised if the country is to tackle the growing number of households on local authority waiting lists and in unsuitable and temporary accommodation.
