Bristol financial advice specialist The Aspire Partnership has promoted two of its most experienced financial planners to partner.
Naomi Keith and Ken Hall, pictured, have been appointed to the roles as the firm looks to strengthen its senior leadership team following a 20% increase in demand from clients who are retired or approaching retirement, as well as professionals, trustees and business owners.
Ken, who joined the business in 2010, is a Chartered Financial Planner with both the Chartered Insurance Institute and Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.
He has extensive knowledge of personal taxation, financial planning in retirement, and estates and trusts.
He said: “I have been in the financial industry since the age of 17, passing my first financial exams at the age of 18. It’s been an enjoyable career that has allowed me to grow and develop over the years.
“This promotion makes me very proud and proves that, if you are prepared to start at the bottom, work hard, listen and learn, you can be extremely successful.”
Naomi has been with Aspire for seven years and typically works with busy professionals, partners in law firms, CEOs and business owners based in London, Bath and Bristol.
She is highly accomplished at helping women navigate financial challenges during difficult times, such as divorce or bereavement.
She said: “I am exceptionally proud to achieve this career milestone and I’ve been delighted to receive warm wishes from both clients and my professional connections.
“This is a really exciting time to be part of our journey and I’m keen to continue playing an integral role in our growth.”
The Aspire Partnership managing partner Nikki King said: “Ken and Naomi are both Bristol born and bred and have been instrumental in shaping Aspire into the incredibly successful and respected firm we are today.
“Their promotion to partner opens a new chapter for us and will make us stronger moving forward, which is great for the business and our valued clients.”
She added that despite progress in recent years, women remained underrepresented in financial services, so Naomi’s promotion marked significant progress for the firm and the profession.
“We are extremely proud to support Naomi. I hope this inspires other women looking to either join or progress in the industry, as we desperately need more women in financial services,” Nikki added.
