Return of digital agency’s pro-bono scheme that gives a £25k boost to a charity’s marketing performance

Bristol digital marketing agency Noble Performs is to launch its annual Noble Deeds competition for charities and not for profits at a special event later this month.

Now in its third year, the initiative provides a city-based charity with pro bono digital performance marketing support. 

US-owned Noble Performs brought the Noble Deeds scheme to the UK to help charities and not-for-profit organisations develop their essential activities.

Its package value increases each year in line with Noble Performs’ turnover growth and will this year be worth £25,000 – up from £18,000 in 2023.

Past winners have been Heart of BS13, a South Bristol social enterprise which supports people living in Hartcliffe, and Emmaus Bristol, which helps people out of homelessness and poverty, pictured below.

This year’s competition will be launched at Noble Performs’ Be Better Bristol event, when local businesses and the not-for-profit community will come together to discuss how to do better and be better across the city for mutual benefit. 

The event, which is designed to inspire new connections and collaborations, takes place at concert venue St George’s on 27 June.

Speakers include Nick Sturge, the non-executive chair of techSPARK – the not-for-profit network for the tech cluster in Bristol & Bath – and a key figure in Bristol’s tech sector for more than two decades, Age UK South Gloucestershire CEO Mark Flower, and Caroline Amran, recruitment lead at Babbasa, the pioneering Bristol organisation helping young people from the city’s less advantaged communities into work and education.

Originally operated by Noble Performs’ headquarters in Nevada, the Noble Deeds pro bono programme has been running for nearly 15 years. It donates more than $200,000 to charitable causes each year and has helped dozens of not-for-profit organisations in the state.

The agency, which opened its first base outside the US in Bristol six years ago, brought the scheme to the city three years ago.

Noble UK managing director Kate Sikora, pictured, said: “We’re super excited to be launching Noble Deeds at this year’s Be Better Bristol event.

“Our business is all about being better and doing better and making meaningful connections, which is why we chose to launch in Bristol in 2018.

“The city has a real sense of community and collaboration which is such a fit with our ethos and we’re always looking for ways to bring people together to share ideas for inspiration and innovation.

“We’d love any interested local charities and not for profits who’d like to come along to our Be Better Bristol event on the 27 June to get in touch.

“As well as entering our Noble Deeds competition for pro bono digital marketing support, the evening will be a great opportunity to network with local businesses and community members.”

The support package up for grabs aims to upskill the winning organisation’s existing marketing team through digital marketing support and skills training tailored to suit its specific needs.

This can include SEO, PPC, analytics and paid social. The package of support is anticipated to run from September to next February, depending on specific requirements.

Entries must be registered charities or not for profits based in the South West. An application form will be on the Noble Performs website from Friday 28 June until Friday 12 July, with the winner selected by the end of July.
