Bristol-headquartered ethical finance firm Triodos Bank UK has won a top award in its sector for the third consecutive year.
The firm was named Best Ethical Financial Provider at the British Bank Awards while it also lined up as a finalist in seven other categories.
The awards are determined by customers’ reviews and feedback on the Smart Money People website, with more than150,000 people contributing this year.
Triodos Bank’s customers highlighted its ethical credentials, its customer service and the ease of managing their money through the banking app or online.
Triodos Bank, which has operated in the UK for nearly 30 years, focuses on making money work for positive change.
It uses customers’ deposits to provide a range of finance and tailored support to progressive companies, social enterprises and charities making an impact, both from an environmental and social perspective.
Its range of services includes current accounts, investments and savings.

The British Bank Awards are now in their 10th year. Triodos has been named a winner across a variety of categories every year since 2020.
The seven other categories in which Triodos was shortlisted this year were: Best British Bank, Best Banking App, Customer Service Champion, Best Current Account Provider, Best Investments Provider, Best Savings Provider and Treating Customers Fairly.
