Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has promoted Flora Barnes to partner in its Bristol-based corporate tax team to help shape its future and drive growth from within its own ranks.
Flora, pictured, leads the firm’s tax risk and governance practice, which supports clients across the senior accounting officer regime, including UK tax strategy, the Business Risk Review (BRR+) tax control framework and corporate criminal offence. 
She has extensive experience advising international groups and large corporates on UK corporation tax as well as businesses with a corporate US element.
She also leads the firm’s Tax InSight software, which uses RSM’s existing governance risk and controls system to facilitate a custom tax dashboard its clients.
Flora said: “Becoming a partner at RSM is a huge achievement, and I’m thrilled to be part of the partnership as the firm continues to go from strength to strength.

Flora’s promotion is one of 10 across RSM UK ‘s office network covering a range of specialisms including personal tax, tax investigations, restructuring, audit, accounting and business advisory, brand and communications, and national finance.
The firm has 240 employees based in Bristol. The office is one of 30 RSM UK bases across the UK, which between them employ 4,715 partners and staff.
