Property advice group GVA has appointed Tom Keys-Toyer as a director in its national retail team based in its Bristol office.
Mr Keys-Toyer brings 16 years’ experience as a specialist retail consultant with Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly King Sturge). Working on a national level, he will be focusing on retailer opportunities and looking to further grow GVA’s existing portfolio of retailer clients.
The move marks another statement of intent for GVA following its announcement three months ago to create a significant ‘war chest’ to super-charge the business for growth. It also follows the arrival earlier this year of seven new staff to strengthen and expand its national retail agency division.
Mr Keys-Toyer brings with him a wealth of experience having worked with a wide range of retail clients such as Mint Velvet, Trespass, Timberland, Havaianas and Waitrose.
GVA regional senior director David Mace said: “This appointment bolsters our team here in Bristol, working alongside myself and fellow director Chris Wright. Despite the well-publicised challenges the high street is facing, our specialist expertise is in increasing demand, resulting in a period of sustained activity for us.”
Mr Keys-Toyer added: “I’m looking forward to working with the retail team at GVA here in Bristol as well as with our other national team members throughout the UK. I’m excited about building on existing relationships and bringing in new quality, national brands to benefit from GVA’s valued and respected advice and service.”
