Bristol-based global executive search firm Granger Reis has recruited one of the world’s foremost experts in the digital infrastructure leadership market to lead its new practice covering the fast-growing sector.
Steve Dargan, pictured, left, with Granger Reis managing partner Jamie Page, has more than 17 years’ experience and has joined Granger Reis (GR) following a five-and-a-half-year tenure as global market leader in digital infrastructure (DI) at US-headquartered management consulting giant Korn Ferry.
Founded in 2008 and now employing more than 40 people, Granger Reis has developed into one of the UK’s leading international executive search firms and headhunters, specialising in infrastructure, real estate, natural resources, energy and industrial technologies.
Clients include housebuilder Redrow, transport giant First Group and property developer Stanhope.
Its new DI practice will focus on data centres, towers and fibre and will work with the world’s foremost tech, investment, and construction organisations.
The firm said the expansion into DI aligned with its core practice areas of energy & infrastructure, mining & metals real estate and industrial technologies.
The new practice is already navigating the impact of AI as organisations grapple with the critical need for leaders to create, develop and scale new ways of delivering this technology sustainably.
GR managing partner Jamie Page said: “Digital infrastructure drives all of our lives and Steve brings unparalleled expertise and dedication in understanding the best people for the job in arguably the most influential businesses in the world.
“Our new DI offering aligns perfectly with our other world-leading practices, leveraging deep industry knowledge and commitment to delivering top-tier talent.
“Across the board, we will also continue to place planet and people at the heart of every possible decision to ensure those in the top jobs have all our futures in mind, too.”
Steve Dargan, whose title at GR is senior partner and practice leader, digital infrastructure, added: “The market has increasingly asked for a more agile, focused and innovative approach to finding the best leadership talent in the digital infrastructure space.
“Moving to GR is a fantastic opportunity to address these requirements and for our growing team to align with the values and purpose of an organisation that has really understood what the global leadership future looks like.”
