The corporate team at Foot Anstey, the national law firm with an office in Bristol, has supported fast-growing specialist healthcare software client Agilio on its latest two acquisitions.
The takeovers take to six the total number that Foot Anstey has advised Agilio on in just over two years.
Sheffield-based Agilio, a provider of compliance and HR software in the healthcare industry in the UK, strengthened its offering by snapping up Iatro Partners and Colourful CPD – the latest in a string of takeover for the fast-growing firm on which Foot Anstey has advised.
Leeds-based Iatro Partners is a software and services provider for primary care organisations in the NHS offering digital health systems that support and connect GP practices.
Since its launch in 2019, it has quickly developed into an award-winning, go-to solution for primary care organisations.
Over the past year more than 1,000 practices have adopted Iatro’s Practice365 product to enhance the online experience for patients, supporting 15m-plus patient information access journeys each month.
Meanwhile the takeover of Suffolk-based Colourful CPD, a leading provider of non-clinical skills training for veterinary professionals, is part of Agilio’s next stage of growth and marks the first acquisition for Agilio within the veterinary industry.

The Foot Anstey team advised on all aspects of the acquisitions – the fifth and sixth it has worked on with Agilio’s management team.
The team included Emma Clayton, who led the deals, managing associate Nathalie Ingles, who advised on employment matters, and corporate solicitor Megan Berry, as well as support from intellectual property associate Hannah Batten on the Colourful CPD acquisition.
Foot Anstey, which employs 590 people across its offices in Bristol, Exeter, London, Plymouth, Southampton, Taunton and Truro, advises clients in sectors spanning development, energy and infrastructure to Islamic finance and retail and consumer.
