The Bristol office of Evelyn Partners, the national integrated wealth management and professional services group, has taken on a new financial planning director.
Will Thompson, pictured, left, with Evelyn Partners Bristol office managing partner Richard Mikdadi, joins from wealth management firm Rathbones, where he spent three-and-a-half years as a senior financial planner in its Bristol office.
Prior to that he worked for 11 years at regional accountants Old Mill, where he was associate director.
He has experience of advising high net worth individuals, families and trustees in a range of planning and tax-based areas.
Richard Mikdadi said: “We are delighted that the Bristol office continues to attract talent of Will’s calibre from the local market.
“We are confident that his appointment is another boost to an already exceptionally strong financial planning team.”
Will added: “I am thrilled to join the team in Bristol. The breadth of services and expertise here, and the scale of the regional presence, were particularly attractive factors to me in joining Evelyn Partners.”
Evelyn Partners’ Bristol office provides a range of services, including financial planning, investment management and tax advice, to help clients manage their personal and business financial affairs.
Evelyn Partners was formed a year ago following the merger of Smith & Williamson with Tilney. The firm has £53bn of assets under management, making it the UK’s fifth largest professional services business by fee income.
Bristol is one of 28 towns and cities across the UK where it has a presence.
