Communications agency McCann has extended its lease for a further five years on its waterfront premises in Bristol – testament, it says, to its continued success in the South West and nationally.

The move comes as managing director Andy Reid, who has appointed earlier this year, continues to inject a new lease of life into the agency. The senior team has been bolstered by the appointment of Greg Richardson as senior account director to take on the strategic direction and management for high-profile clients including Lego, Sure Mobile, Foresters Friendly Society and The Mall at Cribbs Causeway.

The agency has also introduced a new website – www.mccannbristol.co.uk – which offers news, views and insights, including a regularly updated blog looking at industry issues and developments, and provides creative thought from the McCann Bristol team.

Mr Reid said the renewal of the lease on Communications House, Redcliff Street, with property agents DTZ plays an important part in raising the agency’s profile within Bristol and beyond.

“We are lucky to have a very talented and creative workforce in our Bristol office, and want to continue to attract high calibre staff and be known as a great place to work,” he said.

“We believe that a one-size-fits-all mentality is not enough for our clients – nor is simple communications integration. Embracing genuine channel neutrality, we offer a complete 360 service – delivered by award-winning specialists, all under one roof and united by our central Transformational Way planning process.”

McCann Bristol is part of McCann Worldgroup, the world’s largest advertising and communications network. McCann is in over 200 cities in 130 countries, and just over Bristol Bridge on Redcliff Street, making it the best connected local, global agency in town.
