Acquisition-hungry Bristol businesses can find out how software robotics could help revolutionise their financial reporting at an online event hosted by accountancy group Tilney Smith & Williamson next week.
The webinar on Wednesday, March 23, will explain the benefits of robotic process automation (RPA) and Tilney Smith & Williamson’s new Smart Financials automated consolidation service.
RPA is a new technology that uses digital robots to emulate computer tasks normally performed by people while Smart Financials allows businesses to automate group financial reporting using the LucaNet performance management software, which overlays existing group accounting platforms and links them into one user interface.
The event, which will include a live Q&A session on automated finance processes, is also aimed at businesses with multiple legacy accounting systems.
Tilney Smith & Williamson partner Helen Bassett, pictured, who leads its business outsourcing services team in Bristol, said demand to allow technology to take care of repetitive tasks had grown rapidly over recent years as business leaders realised the benefits of freeing up their finance teams to focus on providing key strategic support and advice.
“Whether you are looking for a system to automate consolidation processes to improve financial reporting and disclosure, or want to enhance your existing system through robotic process automation, this webinar can help,” she said.
“We’re really excited to be the first UK accountant to partner with LucaNet and offer this new automated group reporting service to our commercial clients.”
