Bristol-headquartered law firm Burges Salmon’s head of private wealth has been named as one of the UK’s leading advisers for the second time in two years.
Beatrice Puoti, pictured, appears in the latest eprivateclient 50 Most Influential table, which recognises the key figures in the sector who provide the best possible advice and service for clients while driving innovation in the way the needs of global clients are met.
The 50 individuals are drawn from across accountancy, legal, trust and family law.
The process of drawing up the list began with an open call to readers of eprivateclient for nominations for private client practitioners based in the UK and offshore who have had a real impact on their profession.
Nominations were then judged by experts at wealth management sector analysis provider PAM Insight strengths before the top 50 list was compiled.
Burges Salmon said Beatrice, who is also a partner in its tax, trusts and family department, had significantly contributed to the development of the firm’s private wealth sector and European tax and trust practice, with a particular expertise on Italian issues.
She also has significant experience in advising financial institutions and trustees on international trust and tax matters and on the ownership, structuring and acquisition of UK and non-UK real estate.
Beatrice, who specialises in cross-border estate planning issues with a particular focus on all conflicts arising from Roman law and common law application, said: “I am honoured to have received this nomination amongst some of the best in our sector, and I am grateful for the strength of our private wealth sector team and the calibre of our clients.”
She was named in the 2020 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list and has also appeared in Who’s Who Legal. Her other awards include Woman of the Year – Leadership in the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2019 and Inspirational Women of the Year in the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2017.
