National property consultancy Carter Jonas’ Bristol-based South West industrial team has been strengthened with the arrival of Darren Letherby as a partner.
With a career spanning over more than 30 years, Darren, pictured, has advised a wide range of private and public sector property owners on the valuation of property portfolios and provides lease consultancy advice to landlords and tenants. 
Formerly at North & Letherby Chartered Surveyors, based near Severn Beach, Darren continues to represent The Bristol Port Company in all real estate, development and management matters affecting its 2,600-acre estate at Portbury, Avonmouth and Severnside.
He joins Carter Jonas’ dedicated South West industrial team, which includes Alison Williams, George Lynch and Ed Cawse.
Over the past 12 months, the team has driven several significant industrial transactions in the region, supporting occupiers, investors and developers in a sector transformed through the impacts of changing consumer habits, Covid and Brexit.
The team forms part of the firm’s national industrial offering, with specialists working across the UK from its commercial hub offices in Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge and London.

Carter Jonas employs around 700 people across its network of 33 UK offices. In 2019 it acquired Bristol-based Williams Gunter Hardwick – giving it a base in Bristol for the first time.
