The West division of construction and regeneration group Vistry Partnerships has completed a board restructure, appointing Kevin Trow as operations director, as it targets ambitious growth across the region.
The division, based in Bradley Stoke, is responsible for some of Bristol’s largest new home developments, including Blackberry Hill in Fishponds, pictured, Romney House in Lockleaze – which is being developed with Bristol City Council’s housebuilding business Goram Homes – and the City Gateway (Ashton Rail Yard) scheme at the entrance to the proposed Western Harbour site.
It is also working on developments in South Gloucestershire and Somerset.
Kevin Trow, pictured, joins a board of directors led by Marc Thompson and including development director Ronny Popat, commercial director Georgina Lillington and head of finance Richard Yates.
Kevin, who was previously head of technical department, has 40-plus years’ housebuilding and construction experience, with much of that focused on the delivery of affordable housing, open market homes and multi-occupancy properties.
In his new role he will be tasked with ensuring a number of Vistry Partnerships’ latest developments get underway at pace this year to deliver much-needed homes around the West of England.
Kevin said: “I’m delighted to be working closely with Marc and the board as it’s a really exciting time for the West business – we’ve developed a brilliant team and we’ll be getting underway on some fantastic new schemes in the coming months.
“I’m also looking forward to working closely with our existing partners, as well as new ones as we grow.”
Vistry Partnerships West managing director Marc Thompson added: “I’m pleased to welcome Kevin to the board alongside the other directors.
“We are extremely focussed on delivering excellent quality homes and sustainable communities for those in Bristol and the surrounding areas. We’ve now established a very strong and passionate leadership team with some clear operational targets.
“We’re confident of meeting these as we continue to work with many of our established partners, including Bristol City Council and Homes England.”
Vistry Partnerships (formerly Galliford Try Partnerships) is part of the Vistry Group, which also includes national housebuilders Bovis Homes and Linden Homes.
